N 6-methyladenosine alters RNA structure to regulate binding of a low-complexity protein
N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is the most abundant internal modification in eukaryotic messenger RNA (mRNA), and affects almost every stage of the mRNA life cycle. The YTH-domain proteins can specifically recognize m6A modification to control mRNA maturation, translation and decay. m6A can also alter RNA structures to affect RNA-protein interactions in cells. Here, we show that m6A increases the acc...
متن کاملA ug 2 00 6 INTERSECTION NUMBERS ON M g , n AND AUTOMORPHISMS OF STABLE CURVES
Due to the orbifold singularities, the intersection numbers on the moduli space of curves Mg,n are in general rational numbers rather than integers. We study the properties of the denominators of these intersection numbers and their relationship with the orders of automorphism groups of stable curves. We also present a conjecture about the numerical property for a general class of Hodge integrals.

Nylon 6, 6 is regarded as tough and ductile materials since it exhibit high tensile elongation to break and high drop weight impact strengths. However, under conditions of stress concentration such as in the presence of sharp notches or cracks, polyamides exhibit brittle failure. This property, evaluated as notched Izod or Charpy impact tests, indicates that unmodified polyamides exhibit relati...
متن کاملIncorporation of a kinin, N, 6-benzyladenine into soluble RNA.
Kinin requiring tobacco and soybean tissues incubated on a medium containing N,6-benzyladenine-8-C(14) incorporated C(14) into several RNA components including adenylic and guanylic acids. About 15% of the label taken up by the tissues appeared in RNA while the remainder was distributed among several metabolites in the soluble, nonpolynucleotide fraction. Tissue grown on a kinin labeled in the ...

Let E and E ′ be elliptic curves over C, with Tate parametrizations p : C ′) sending u ⊗ v to the class of the zero cycle (x, y) − (x, 0) − (0, y) + (0, 0), where x = p(u), y = p ′ (v). We show that, for general u ∈ C * , p * p ′ (u ⊗ (1 − u)) is not zero in CH 2. We also show that the cycle p * p ′ (u ⊗ (1 − u)) is not detectable by a certain class of cohomology theories, including the cohomol...
